About Temple
In the temple complex of Shri Garbharakshambika Sameta Shri Mullaivana Nathar, you will find a main Raja gopuram on the east and an entrance on the south. There is the shrine of Lord Mullaivana Nathar along with the shrines of Goddess Garbharakshambika in the outer Prakaram, which is facing the east. To the left of the Shiva temple is Goddess Garbharakshambika, which is located in the main sanctum of this temple.
History
The shrine of Thirukkarugaavoor Mullaivananathar Sri Garbharakshaambigai holds a great deal of fame because of the Goddess Shri Garbharakshambika (an avatar of Goddess Parvati), who protects human embryos. There is no wonder this temple draws people from all faiths.
A huge water tank stands in front of the Shri Garbharakshambika Sameta Shri Mullaivana Nathar temple, which is surrounded by tall coconut palms.
