About Temple:

Thirumananjeri is one of the famous Prarthana sthalas around Kumbakonam and Mayavaram Kalyanasundarar temples. It is believed that unmarried boys or girls will enter wedlock if they appease the presiding deity, Kalyanasundarar, and his divine consort- Kokilambal.

History

Prarthana can be done any day between 7.30 a.m. and 1 p.m., and 3.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m., and it is believed that unmarried men and women will get married by worshipping the Lord and his consort. There are many unmarried men and women who meet together to appease the deities. Priests conduct the rituals correctly and conduct the pooja with reverence. Rathi and Manmadhan were married at Thirumananjeri.

Visiting Thirumananjeri should only be done after visiting other places. This temple should be at the end of a tour. Faith can move mountains. Reposing faith in the deities will do miracles. Those unmarried who prayed for their weddings are required to visit Thirumanajeri and perform the priest’s rituals afterward.

Rahu of the Navagraha has his own shrine. If the childless worship him, they will be blessed with a progeny. Worshipping him consecutively on three New Moon days will remove Navagraha’s malefic effects.
