Venus, also known as Sukra, is the sixth of the nine navagrahas. Venus rules the natal chart’s second and seventh signs, Taurus and Libra. He rules the stars Bharani, PurvaPhalguni, and Purvashadha.

Kanjanur’s Agniswarar Temple
The Hindu temple Agniswarar Temple, located 18 kilometers north-east of Kumbakonam, is located in the village of Kanjanur. While Sukra (Venus) is the temple’s presiding deity, Shiva, the most prominent idol, is the one in the temple’s stomach. According to the Saivite belief that Shiva is all-pervasive, Sukra is said to be in the stomach of the Shiva idol.
