About Temple
The temple atop the hill can be reached by a staircase consisting of approximately 3200 steps. The main deity, Lord Narasimha, can be found in a meditative posture known as ‘Yoga Narasimha Swamy.’ Alongside is a separate shrine dedicated to Amrithavalli Thayaar. At the base of the hill resides Lord Bhaktavatsala Perumal, while Thayaar has her own separate shrine as well. Another separate small hill, taking about 800 steps to ascend, houses Lord Anjaneya who sits with four arms and carries a Conch and Chakra. Additionally, near the temple tank is a shrine for Varadaraja Perumal mounted on Garuda. There are also multiple sacred water sources known as Theerthams scattered around the hill.
